Mason McCoy

About Me

I am an aspiring web developer with experience in data analytics and visualization. I began my venture into the world of code by learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while working as a technical writer for my university's IT department.

I would bring these skills to a role with Balyasny Asset Management, where I designed infographics, wrote SOPs, and redeveloped and managed their data team's content management system. This is also where I would discover my love of Python, the scripting language I am currently most proficient with.

Hoping to expand on these skills, I participated in Northwestern University's Data and Visualization Boot Camp, where I learned the fundamentals of retrieving, cleaning, and wrangling data that I would then use to develop and deploy my first web applications.

I am currently enrolled in a second boot camp through Northwestern, in which I hope to learn much more about web development, create more usable and accesible applications, and continue to learn and grow as a developer.
